Runtime Error T3006 - Error 1324: Path Contains Invalid Character
When attempting to install The Exam Simulator, the InstallShield wizard may generate Error 1324: The folder path contains an invalid character.

This error does not represent a problem with The Exam Simulator. It represents a pre-existing problem with your computer or its configuration. This error may occur if any of the following conditions are true:

  • Microsoft Windows Installer is damaged or is not installed properly.
  • You are using Windows 95 or Windows 98 with profiles enabled and your profile name contains a forward slash character.
  • You are using Windows NT 4.0 and your profile name contains a forward slash character.
  • You are using Windows 95 or Windows 98 and your CD-ROM drive uses a real mode (16-bit) driver.
  • Your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements needed to run The Exam Simulator.
