Two rare scenarios exist where The Exam Simulator may generate the following error message:
- The file OLEAUT32.DLL is out of date. This program requires a newer version.
Neither of the following scenarios represent a problem with The Exam Simulator. They are both the result of an issue
with your computer that may be causing other problems as well. In both situations, it will be necessary to uninstall and
reinstall The Exam Simulator prior to use. Depending on the severity of the problem, you may need to seek professional
computer assistance as well.
Scenario #1
A program that was on your computer prior to installing The Exam Simulator prevented the InstallShield wizard from
copying all of the required files. Please reference the following support document for additional information:
(T3009) Error 1931: Cannot Update System File
Scenario #2
After installing The Exam Simulator, another program has been installed that has modified a required file. In this situation,
uninstalling and reinstalling The Exam Simulator should resolve the problem.
